I got home from work yesterday with plenty of daylight left to get in a run. That is, until the daylight suddenly disappeared behind a line of huge dark clouds, which led to sheets of rain, lightning and thunder so close it was shaking the house. I think I’ll just stay on the couch and not get electrocuted, thanks! By the time the storms had moved on, it was too late. Oh well.
This morning, I had another early assignment, but this time, I got up in time to run before it. Clark had to go in to his office early, so Pepper had to got to run with me.
It turned out to be for the best, because less than a half-mile down the road, Pepper took a big dump. Look at all that dog poop I’m not going to have to clean up when I get home from work later!
The rest of the run was pretty nice. It was a great morning for a run, and Pepper seemed to almost enjoy himself after he got that out of his system. We did a lap around the 4.5-mile loop.
