A Simple Running Log

Training for 12/5/13

This morning, I had hill repeats on the schedule, so I drove out to the Sharptown bridge.

I can’t remember the last time we had fog in the morning around here, so I was a little annoyed to see it the morning I wanted to run the narrow ribbon of shoulder on a steep bridge on a busy road used by a lot of 18-wheelers.

The weather was still nice enough for shorts and a single long-sleeved shirt though, so I couldn’t complain too much.

I did an easy mile on the flat road to warm up, and then ran up and over the bridge four times. I did one more mile on the road to cool down.

The Garmin said I ran a total of 4.2 miles in 35:33, an 8:30/mile overall average pace.
